Last year, over 60,000 players from 28 countries registered for Red Bull Mobile Esports Open season 3. The competition culminated in a series of nail-biting finals, held across a twelve-day festival in virtual Istanbul. This year’s event series is set to be even more exciting, with players from 30 countries eligible to join the fun and compete in mobile games including PUBG MOBILE and League of Legends: Wild Rift.
Red Bull M.E.O. is a fully open and free to enter competition, featuring the most popular competitive mobile games in the world. The tournament allows players the opportunity to battle it out with the best competitors in their country, as well as in additional Regional events in South East Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

Open to all – won by one. The Red Bull Mobile Esports Open (M.E.O.) is back once again for Season 4. Season 3 was an incredible success, with 60,000 registrations from28 countries across the world, culminating in a 12-day final that took place in a virtual Istanbul. This year’s event is even bigger and better, with players from 30 countries set to take part in esport’s most exciting competition.
This year’s Red Bull M.E.O. features some of the most competitive and popular mobile esports titles around. Here’s what you can look forward to this season:
PUBG MOBILE is back once again for 2021. Up to 100 players parachute onto a remoteisland to battle in a winner-takes-all showdown. Players need to locate and scavenge their own weapons, vehicles and supplies, and defeat every player in a visually and tactically rich battleground that forces players into a shrinking play zone.
League of Legends: Wild Rift has also been added to the Red Bull M.E.O. roster for 2021, letting competitors test their skills in 5v5 MOBA combat. With fresh controls and fast-paced games, players of every level can team up with friends, lock in their champion, and go for the big plays.
There will also be some local variations at this year’s Red Bull M.E.O., such as the hugely popular World Cricket Championship, which will be available for competitors in India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
National competitions will be split into Qualifiers and Finals, with events taking place from July to December. Each country will have a dedicated PUBG MOBILE competition and a number of European and Asian countries will have national competitions on the newly released League of Legends: Wild Rift game.
As well as national events, Red Bull M.E.O. will include International Online Qualifiers and Regional Finals, taking place in Europe, South East Asia and the Middle East. European players will be battling for dominance in League of Legends: Wild Rift and competitors in South East Asia and the Middle East will be fighting for the international PUBG Mobile crown. These international events will run from July to December.
As the tournament is open for all, Red Bull M.E.O. Season 4 contestants have the unique chance to compete against top mobile esports athletes and other well-known players.
Competitors will get the chance to take part in a truly unique Red Bull experience, with additional prizes and rewards to be confirmed at regional and national levels.
